Just yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine about my Sheepskin Seat Cover Business. He was asking how I made any money during the summer because he knew sheepskin had to be very hot during the summer. Well I had to go into my lesson on how sheepskin is really cool in hot weather. When I got through telling him this he still looked at me like he was just not convinced.
I finally made a deal with him. I told him when it gets hot I’ll come to his house and let him give my seats a good sitting. He could sit on my seats as long as he liked with the air conditioning off and if he didn’t agree with me that the sheepskin covers were cool even in very hot weather, I would pay him $50.00. If he was proved wrong and agreed with me that they are everything I said they were, then he has to purchase a pair of sheepskin seat covers from me for his vehicle. He accepted my offer, he just doesn’t know that he has already lost.
Sheepskin is very special in its make up. The sheepskin fleece is super dense and super strong. It is in fact so strong that when you sit on it, the strands of fleece never lay down they actually stay standing. This is really an amazing thing. Because of the strength of the strands and their ability to stay standing. This ability to stay standing allows air to continuously keep flowing between the fleece hairs. This continuous airflow keeps things nice and cool all the time. You see when you sit on a flat surface there is no air flowing between you and the flat surface you are sitting on. This causes heat to continuously build up, which causes you to get hot and you quickly start sweating. This is no problem when you have sheepskin covers between you and your seat.
Sheepskin has many other unique properties, but this one thing makes them worth their weight in gold. They are also very easy to keep clean. I wrote on this before and it is worth mentioning again. All you have to do to keep them clean and healthy is brush them. Brushing them keeps any big debris from building up on the sheepskin. I have actually seen sheepskin covers that were a cpl years old and had never been brushed and they still looked good. I wouldn’t recommend this though, especially if you have lighter colored sheepskin covers. In any case if you did forget to brush them for a cpl years and they did get dirty they make a special liquid cleaner that you can clean them with. This cleaner will really make them look brand new again.
All in all I think sheepskin is an amazing product. Its is amazing to me that they are one of natures gifts to us. on another note It mind boggles me that more people don’t know about the amazing benefits of sheepskin. If more people were willing to take a chance and try them they would be promoting them just like me. Sometimes things are not what they seem and sheepskin is one of those things. I can see where people would think they are hot, I’m just glad I can prove them wrong.
